Introduction to Photography by Linda

Build a solid foundation to launch your artistic vision! If you're new to photography and want to start with a solid foundation, Linda is here for you. She offers one-on-one lessons on how to choose your camera, camera setting, lens selection, and basics of composition. Linda has been behind the camera since 1976. One things she knows is that you never stop learning as a photographer. She's active in attending continuing education courses, teaches GPPA and PPA Photographic Workshops, and has earned her Certified Professional Photographer credential with the Professional Photographers of America. She is currently working on her Photographic Craftsman Degree. She has also earned recognition for her work in International Print Competition and Regional groups.  

Camera Basics, 2 Hours: $200

Camera Settings will help you understand how to use the features of your camera and going beyond your instruction book. The concept of the exposure triangle to allowing you to be more creative.

Lens Selection is designed to help you with your lens choices for various different types of photography and why you would want to use one lens over another.

Composition will cover the key elements of how to frame an image in camera to get the most impact. One thing is to strive to get it right in camera so there is less editing on the back end.

Using your Gear is designed for a one on one session on the specifics of your gear and how to maximize what you have.

Business Basics, 2 hours: $200

Setting up a legal photography business will go in-depth what is needed to start a photography business from the ground up. Will cover topics such as business licences, taxes, insurance and other elements of getting started towards developing a successful business.
