I’m Linda Carroll, the creative force behind Linda Carroll Photography (LC Photography). My journey with photography began in the days of film—long before digital, autofocus, or even cell phones. Those early years shaped my passion for storytelling through imagery, teaching me patience, precision, and the power of capturing life’s fleeting moments.

Whether in the studio or on location, I bring joy, creativity, and years of expertise to every session. My philosophy? “Capturing Life”—those tiny, priceless moments that tell your unique story.

I started my professional career as a sports photographer, so it’s no surprise that my first International Competition award was for a fastpitch softball image. Over the years, I’ve expanded my focus to:

• Women’s portraits
• Family portraits
• High school seniors
• Surprise proposals & couples
• Branding & corporate headshots

And when Christmas comes around, my studio transforms into a magical holiday experience with Santa himself for my exclusive Visits with Santa Experience.

A Few Fun Facts About Me:

• I grew up an Army brat, which meant moving frequently. I was lucky to call Hawaii, San Francisco, Oklahoma, Georgia (Ft. Benning & Ft. Gordon), and Germany home before settling in Atlanta in 1977.
• My first job? Selling cameras. Clearly, I was meant to capture the world!
• I have a soft spot for sunsets and birds—when I’m not photographing people, that’s where you’ll find my lens.
• I believe in chasing your dreams, no matter your age. Pursue them with reckless abandon!
• Lifelong learning is key. The teacher always learns more than the student, and I believe in sharing knowledge generously.
• Giving back through photography is close to my heart. I volunteer at my church, capturing Sunday worship services and special events like Night to Shine and Daddy/Daughter dances.
• I married my college sweetheart, Ben, and in 2025, we’re celebrating 45 years! He’s not just my biggest supporter—he’s also my assistant, gear carrier, and occasional lighting expert (aka my “Sherpa”).
• I’m a proud “Mom” to three and “Nonna” to five. Family is everything.
• My go-to song? Paul Simon’s "Kodachrome"—even though I shoot with a Canon!

At the heart of everything I do is your story. My goal is to create images that not only capture moments but also evoke emotion, leaving a lasting impact for generations. I can’t wait to bring your vision to life.
